"SpaceX Successfully Tests Falcon Heavy Rocket for Psyche Asteroid Mission"

SpaceX successfully conducted a "static fire" test of its Falcon Heavy rocket at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in preparation for the launch of NASA's Psyche asteroid mission. The rocket's 27 first-stage engines were briefly ignited while the vehicle remained anchored to the launch pad. The mission aims to study the asteroid Psyche, believed to be the exposed core of a protoplanet, and gather insights into planet formation and the early solar system. The Falcon Heavy is the second-most powerful rocket currently in operation and this will be its first NASA mission.
