Stunning Postcards from Mars: NASA's Curiosity Rover Captures Martian Mornings and Evenings.

NASA's Curiosity rover has captured stunning photographs of Mars' Marker Band Valley, which were combined and colorized to create a beautiful "postcard" of the Martian landscape. The composite features dramatic shadows due to the opposing "suns" and the fact that it was winter when the photos were taken. NASA has also released an image identifying various features across the Martian landscape. This is not the first postcard from Curiosity, and with a major software update in April, it may not be the last.
