SpaceX to Launch Mysterious X-37B Space Plane for Space Force on Dec. 7

SpaceX will launch the U.S. Space Force's secretive X-37B space plane on a Falcon Heavy rocket on December 7th. This will be the first time the X-37B launches on a Falcon Heavy, and little is known about its capabilities. The mission will involve launching experimental payloads and testing future space domain awareness technologies. The space plane may be carrying heavier payloads or have a new hardware configuration. Additionally, the mission will include a NASA experiment to test the effects of space-based radiation on plant seeds during long-duration spaceflight.
