SpaceX Aims for Second Attempt at Massive Starship Launch This Week

SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying SES's O3b mPOWER satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Base, marking the 63rd rocket launch on the Space Coast this year. Meanwhile, SpaceX is preparing for a second attempt to launch its massive Starship and Super Heavy rocket on an orbital test flight later this week, pending final regulatory approval. If successful, the Starship would become the most powerful rocket to reach orbit, surpassing NASA's Space Launch System. SpaceX has plans for numerous operational Starship launches before allowing human passengers, including three commercial human spaceflight missions and a NASA mission to the moon.
