Private Moon Lander Launch Delayed to February

The launch of Intuitive Machines' robotic IM-1 mission, a commercial moon lander, has been delayed by a month due to SpaceX launch delays caused by unfavorable weather conditions in Florida. The new launch window is set to open in mid-February. IM-1 aims to be the first commercial mission to land on the moon's south pole, pending the launch timeline of Astrobotic Technology's Peregrine lander. Both missions are part of NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program, which supports future crewed landings under the Artemis program.
