Chandrayaan-3's Stunning Lunar Orbit Images Unveiled!

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully placed Chandrayaan-3 into lunar orbit, capturing its first glimpse of the Moon. The spacecraft completed a planned lunar maneuver, reducing its altitude and moving closer to a 170 km x 4313 km orbit around the Moon. ISRO has three more Moon-bound maneuvers scheduled before attempting to separate the landing module, Vikram, and Pragyan (the rover), from the propulsion module. The integrated spacecraft must achieve a 100-kilometer circular orbit before the landing module attempts a soft landing on the Moon's South pole on August 23. The rover will conduct experiments on the Moon's surface for one lunar day.
