This collaboration marks a significant step in the UAE's involvement in lunar exploration and will allow astronauts to perform spacewalks and manage science payloads. The airlock is expected to be completed by 2030, and the UAE will receive a seat on a future Artemis mission. This agreement follows the UAE's previous space achievements, including the Hope Mars mission and participation in the International Space Station (ISS) program.
