"Dodge Charger: The Evolution from Gas-Powered Muscle to All-Electric Powerhouse"

Stellantis unveiled two all-electric versions of the Dodge Charger, the 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack and Daytona R/T, set for production in mid-2024 and early 2025, respectively, as part of its plan to reduce carbon footprint. The EVs feature all-wheel drive, a 100.5 kWh battery pack, and a system to mimic the rumble of a Hemi V-8 engine. The Scat Pack delivers 670 horsepower with a range of 260 miles, while the R/T produces 496 horsepower with a range of 317 miles. The Charger also offers drifting, donut, track, and drag driving modes, and Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares emphasized the company's commitment to EVs while also keeping options for gas-powered vehicles.
