Sledgehammer Games has decided to remove the Weapon Tuning feature from the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 remake following negative feedback from the community. Weapon Tuning allowed players to tweak individual attachment stats, but many players disliked it due to unexpected gun modifications and the belief that it made every gun too similar. The removal applies to both new and recycled weapons, and Sledgehammer Games has made further improvements to the Gunsmith weapon-building editor based on community feedback.
