Nine businesses in northwest Bexar County, Texas, lost water service after a non-SAWS contractor accidentally cut into a 12-inch water main while attempting to add a new line of service. The businesses were without water service for a day until multiple San Antonio Water System (SAWS) crews stepped in to rebuild the connection, aiming to have the businesses reopen by Thursday morning.
