Nine people are dead after a collision between a semi and a van shut down a stretch of Highway 95 in west-central Wisconsin. The crash occurred near County Road J in the Township of Dewhurst, about 50 miles east of Eau Claire. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers expressed sadness over the incident and thanked first responders, while the Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting with the investigation. The stretch of Highway 95 was closed for hours, and motorists were advised to use alternative routes.
