Notre Dame OT Joe Alt Declares for NFL Draft, Skips Bowl Game

Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt has announced his decision to declare for the 2024 NFL draft, opting out of the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl against Oregon State. Alt, ranked 15th overall on Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board, has been a standout player for the Fighting Irish, starting 33 consecutive games at left tackle. He was named an AP first-team All-American for the second straight season and was a finalist for the Lombardi Award. Alt's father, John, was also an NFL player, drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1984.
