Jerry Kill's Explosive Rant Exposes New Mexico's Poor Treatment during Bowl Game
New Mexico State coach Jerry Kill criticized the administration of rival New Mexico, accusing them of not allowing the Aggies to practice in their facilities before the New Mexico Bowl. Kill's frustration stemmed from an incident in September where an NMSU player was caught urinating on New Mexico's indoor practice field. Despite the loss in the bowl game, Kill demanded disciplinary action against New Mexico's athletic director, claiming he had not been treated with respect. The New Mexico Bowl issued a statement stating that both teams were given equal access to training and practice facilities.
