Boeing Defense Workers Near Resolution After Strike
Boeing has reached a tentative five-year labor agreement with striking defense workers, primarily in Missouri, who have been on strike since August over wages and signing bonuses. The union members will vote on the deal this Friday, with details yet to be disclosed. The strike, the first in nearly 30 years, involved over 3,000 workers assembling F-15 fighter jets and missile systems, and follows a previous strike by commercial aircraft unionized workers.
