Canadian union Unifor and automaker Stellantis have reached a tentative agreement, ending a brief strike by over 8,200 autoworkers in Ontario. The deal, which must still be ratified, follows a patterned agreement with Ford Motor and includes wage increases, reactivation of a cost-of-living allowance, and other benefits. Unifor took a traditional approach to negotiations, while the U.S. counterpart, the United Auto Workers, bargained with all three automakers simultaneously.
