Ta-boo, the oldest restaurant on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, has closed its doors for good after 82 years of serving diners. The restaurant was served with an eviction notice in March and its lease expired at the end of April 2022. The property has been sold and a new owner plans to open a different restaurant in its place. Owner Franklyn deMarco intends to reopen Ta-boo at a different location. A farewell party was held on Sunday, with hundreds of people saying goodbye and thanking deMarco for years of great food and memories.
