Virgin Galactic's Galactic 05 Mission: Meet the Crew and Launch Date

Virgin Galactic is preparing for its fifth commercial spaceflight, Galactic 05, scheduled to launch on November 2. The mission will carry three passengers, including renowned planetary scientist Alan Stern and aeronautics researcher Kellie Gerardi. Both passengers will conduct research experiments during the suborbital flight. The third passenger, of Franco-Italian nationality, remains unnamed. The flight will last approximately 1.5 hours, with the VSS Unity space plane returning to Spaceport America for landing.
