AMD is preparing to launch its next-gen Zen 5-based Ryzen mobility CPUs, including the Strix Point and Fire Range families, with leaked details revealing high-performance 8 to 16 core CPUs with TDPs ranging from 28W to 55W. The Strix Point APUs will feature up to 8 cores and 16 threads based on the Zen 5 core architecture, while the Fire Range lineup will offer up to 16 cores and RDNA 3+ graphics cores. These chips are expected to be available in the market by 2025, with Strix Point APUs anticipated for mid-2024 and Fire Range Mobility SKUs in the second half of 2025.
