Astrophotographer Greg Meyer captured a stunning image featuring the Fireworks Galaxy, the Seahorse Nebula, and the Ghost Bush star cluster in a single shot, showcasing a breathtaking deep-space vista from Arizona, despite the objects being millions of light-years apart.
The Barnard 150 dark nebula, also known as the Seahorse nebula, located 1,200 light-years from Earth in the Cepheus constellation, is a Rorschach test for observers, with some seeing a seahorse and others a leash attached to a human. Photographer Tom Carrico captured the image using a 2-inch diameter RedCat 51 telescope, taking 78 exposures over 6.5 hours from the dark skies of eastern Oregon.
