"Salt Water Gargling and Nasal Rinsing: A Promising Approach to Ease COVID Symptoms and Prevent Hospitalization"

Gargling with salt water and rinsing nasal passages may help ease the symptoms of a COVID-19 infection and reduce hospitalization rates, according to a study presented at a scientific meeting. The study tracked 55 adults with COVID-19 who were instructed to gargle and rinse their nasal passages four times a day for 14 days. Participants had significantly lower hospitalization rates compared to a reference group.
