The Toronto Maple Leafs' radio announcers, Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph, will be allowed to travel and call games on the road for the team's second-round series against the Florida Panthers. The team and its broadcast partners had previously opted for remote broadcasting, but public pressure led to a change in policy. The Toronto Maple Leafs will continue to have their radio broadcasters, Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph, call games remotely for the first round of the playoffs, including Games 3 and 4 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The broadcasters will be limited to calling the game from television monitors inside their respective radio stations.
