Apple's iOS 27 Rave aims to streamline code and extend battery life
Apple's iOS 27, code-named Rave, will clean up iOS internals by removing old code and rewriting features to improve performance and potentially battery life, in a Snow Leopard–like cleanup effort. It may include subtle interface tweaks and stronger AI features like a revamped Siri, with broader plans for new devices such as a touchscreen MacBook Pro and a foldable iPhone later in 2026.
