The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has provided an updated timeline for the impact of the saltwater wedge on water treatment facilities in Plaquemines Parish. The forecast shows delayed impacts, with the Belle Chasse treatment facility now expected to be impacted on October 27, two weeks later than previously forecasted.
