Google discontinues Fitbit's community features and challenges.

Fitbit has removed challenges and open groups, two of its long-time features, from its app as part of its effort to streamline areas of the app as it moves towards further Google integration. The move has not been well-received by the community, with many calling on Google to reverse the decision. The "Discover" tab in the Fitbit app now only shows workout guides, mindfulness and nutrition content, and similar programs and content.
