Centenarian WW2 Veteran and Family Man Passes Away
Douglas Baldwin, a WW2 veteran who fought in Normandy at age 18 and was later a prisoner of war, has died at 100. He served with the King's Own Scottish Borderers, was captured in France, and spent time in German camps before returning home. Baldwin was celebrated for his bravery, received France's Legion of Honour, and was remembered with gratitude by the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans.
