Bethesda has introduced Bethesda Game Studios Creations, a new feature in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim: Special Edition, which replaces the Creation Club and encourages mod creators to release paid content. The update includes the Creations menu, an updated Creation Kit tool, an overhauled Creations website, and a rebranding of Creation Club Credits as Creation Credits. With The Elder Scrolls 6 still years away, fans have turned to mods to keep Skyrim entertaining, with some players even setting records for NPC kills and recreating the game in other titles.
