The creator of the poker-themed rogue-like game Balatro has addressed the controversy surrounding its rating, acknowledging the grey area for interpretation by PEGI and expressing disappointment in the inconsistency of ratings for games with gambling mechanics. Playstack confirmed a mobile version is in the works, and potential future additions to the game were discussed in an AMA session.
