Fragments of the asteroid 2024 BX1, which hit Earth over Berlin, Germany, have been recovered by meteorite hunters and may be super-rare space rocks. The recovered samples, found by a team led by SETI scientist Peter Jenniskens, are suspected to be aubrites, a rare type of space rock that makes up only 1% of all known meteorites.
