The Taste of Cincinnati festival, running from May 25-27 on 5th Street, will feature 85 vendors and over 50 music acts. Expected to be the largest in its 45-year history, the event offers a variety of food and drinks, with dishes priced between $4 and $12. Admission is free, and several streets will be closed for the event.

The South Side Irish Parade, an annual St. Patrick's Day tradition in Beverly and Morgan Park since 1979, drew over 10,000 marchers and 200,000 spectators this year. The parade, which briefly stopped from 2009 to 2011 due to safety concerns, has become one of the largest neighborhood St. Patrick’s Day celebrations outside of Dublin. It serves as a reunion for people from different parts of the city and fosters family parties and get-togethers throughout the area.

Bell County has declared a local state of disaster in preparation for The Great American Eclipse on April 8, expecting a doubling of its population and significant strain on infrastructure. The declaration aims to coordinate with the state department of emergency management and requires property owners to register if hosting large events. Residents are advised to prepare for travel delays, stock up on essentials, and avoid driving if possible, with county offices closed on the day of the eclipse.

The second annual Monroe County Veterans Day Parade honored and celebrated the more than 32,000 veterans living in the county, with local marching bands, law enforcement, and other groups parading through the streets. A special service was also held at the Vietnam Memorial in remembrance of all those who served. Families of veterans expressed gratitude for the recognition of their local heroes, with Sheriff Todd Baxter, an Army veteran, serving as the parade's grand marshal.

Portions of Gay Street in downtown Knoxville will be closed for the 2023 Knox Pride Parade on Friday, with road closures starting at 5 p.m. and the parade stepping off at 7 p.m. On Saturday, road closures near World's Fair Park will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for Pride Fest.
