DMK spokesperson expelled and arrested for derogatory remarks.
The DMK expelled a party member, Shivaji Krishnamoorthy, for making offensive comments on actor and BJP leader Khushbu Sundar and Governor RN Ravi in an unverified video. He was arrested in the evening. State BJP chief K Annamalai has called him a "repeat offender" and demanded action. Krishnamoorthy had made threats against the Governor in January, and the party had suspended him. The comments against the Governor come as the tussle between him and the DMK government escalates.
