DMK member expelled and arrested for derogatory comments about BJP's Khushbu Sundar and Governor.

BJP leader Khushbu Sundar criticized DMK platform speaker Sivaji Krishnamurthy for his alleged crass comments about her and other women, and tagged Chief Minister M K Stalin, saying that his party is becoming a safe haven for uncouth hooligans. BJP state president K Annamalai also condemned Krishnamurthy's comments about the Governor and demanded immediate action on this repeat offender. Krishnamurthy had earlier stoked a row over his controversial statements about Governor R N Ravi and was suspended from the party, before it was revoked after he apologized.
