Northwestern women's lacrosse team won its eighth national title and first in 11 years after defeating Boston College 18-6 in the NCAA championship game. Izzy Scane scored four goals and was named the most outstanding player of the tournament. Coach Kelly Amonte Hiller tied the Division I record for most national titles with eight. Northwestern dominated possession in the second half, and Boston College is now 1-5 in NCAA finals.
