"Emergency Response: Kanawha County Faces High Water Threat and Tornado Watch in West Virginia"
Multiple water rescues are underway in Kanawha County, West Virginia, as a result of flooding caused by a Flood Watch and a Flood Warning issued by the National Weather Service. No injuries have been reported so far, but residents in various areas, including Coopers Creek and Greendale Drive, have been affected by high water. Interstate 64 West was also reduced to one lane near the West Virginia State Capitol due to high-water issues, and neighboring counties like Roane County are experiencing similar problems.
