Gastonia Ex-Cop Arrested, Charged with 32 Felonies

Former Gastonia police officer Xana Dajanae Dove, 26, has been arrested and charged with 32 felonies, including accessing a government computer, obstruction of justice, conspiring to sell and deliver marijuana, felony conspiracy, conspiring to purchase a stolen motor vehicle, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and trafficking opiates. The charges were the result of a joint investigation between the Gastonia Police Department and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Dove was separated from employment with the city of Gastonia on November 15.

Israel has returned the body of an Egyptian policeman who shot dead three Israeli soldiers near the border between the two countries on Saturday. While Egypt said that he crossed into Israel while chasing drug smugglers, Israel's prime minister said that it was a terrorist attack and demanded a thorough joint investigation. The attacker was identified as Mohammed Salah, 22, but a relative and a comrade of Salah told the BBC that he was not an extremist.

Mother arrested after 11-year-old son found dead in Horsham home and SUV found partially submerged at New Jersey shore.

A mother is in custody after her 11-year-old son was found dead in Horsham Township, Pennsylvania. The father reported that the child was found dead inside the master bedroom, where he allegedly spent the night with his mother. The mother was later found in New Jersey after her car was spotted partially submerged in the ocean. The cause of death and charges are unknown at this time. Montgomery County Detectives and Horsham Police launched a joint investigation into the boy's death.
