As the second anniversary of Putin's invasion of Ukraine approaches, a list of Russian atrocities committed during the conflict has been compiled, including the Bucha massacres, destruction of the Antonov An-225 "Mriya," attacks on Kramatorsk railway station and Mariupol, the Olenivka Prison Camp massacre, execution of Oleksandr Matsievskiy, Dnipro residential building airstrike, destruction of the Kakhovka Dam, RIA restaurant missile strike in Kramatorsk, and the attack on Odesa's Orthodox Cathedral. These acts of savagery illustrate the inhuman treatment inflicted on Ukrainians and are considered war crimes that must be punished.

Challenges in Holding Russia Accountable for Aggression and Human Rights Violations.

The US State Department's proposal for a special tribunal to prosecute Russian crimes of aggression against Ukraine in a hybrid "internationalized" format is legally void and will not bring Russia to responsibility for its crimes of aggression. The only way to achieve justice is to create a special ad hoc tribunal, reminiscent of those used in the cases of Rwanda, former Yugoslavia, and the Nuremberg trials, which will eliminate the immunity issue when it comes to prosecuting Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

Estonian and Ukrainian leaders strengthen ties amid NATO membership discussions.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Estonia Kaja Kallas signed a joint declaration on support for the Ukrainian Peace Formula, creation of a tribunal to prosecute Russia, support for Ukraine's EU and NATO membership, as well as coordination of actions for security guarantees before membership in the Alliance. The declaration confirms Estonia's support for Ukraine's EU membership and praises its progress in implementing the recommendations of the European Commission. Estonia became the 10th country of the Alliance to formalize its support for Ukrainian NATO membership in similar declarations.

Ukraine claims to have shot down a Russian bomber near Bakhmut, while Ukrainian shelling hit a locomotive depot in the Russian-occupied city of Melitopol. Ukrainian President Zelensky invited Chinese leader Xi Jinping to visit Ukraine, while Russia began exercises with Yars ICBMs. US President Biden expressed concern over Russia's plans to station tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, while the US announced its support for the creation of an internationalized tribunal to prosecute the crime of aggression against Ukraine. The International Atomic Energy Agency director general said military action is increasing around Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
