Colombia reclaims ancient masks from Germany.

Germany's Ethnological Museum in Berlin has returned two wooden masks, believed to be from the mid-15th century, to Colombia's Kogi mountain people. The masks were used in Indigenous rituals and were bought by ethnologist Konrad Theodor Preuss in 1915. The handover follows years of talks between Berlin's museum authority and Colombia, with an official request for their return coming from Colombia last year. The return of the masks is part of a rethink of how European countries deal with their colonial past.
