Deadly Bus Accident Claims Dozens of Lives in Indian-Administered Kashmir

At least 30 people have been killed and over two dozen injured in a bus accident in Indian-administered Kashmir. The bus, carrying 42 passengers, slid off a mountain road and rolled down a steep slope onto another road in the Doda area. The cause of the accident is still unknown, but it is believed to be due to the driver's negligence. Rescue operations are underway, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. India has a high rate of road accidents, often attributed to reckless driving, poor road maintenance, and aging vehicles.
