
"Hurricane Nigel Strengthens in the Atlantic, Threatens East Coast"
Hurricane Nigel has formed in the Atlantic Ocean and is expected to become a major hurricane by Tuesday. As of the latest advisory, it is located about 810 miles east-southeast of Bermuda, with maximum sustained winds of 80 mph. The storm is moving northwest at 12 mph and is projected to continue this motion for the next couple of days before turning northward late Tuesday. It is expected to accelerate northeastward throughout the week, with a gradual weakening possible starting on Wednesday. Hurricane Nigel poses no threat to South Florida as it is moving out to sea.
