Sadie Mauro, a 17-year-old high school lacrosse star from Dover-Sherborn High School in Massachusetts, tragically lost her life in a boating accident on Cape Cod. Mauro, who was set to begin her senior year, was ejected from the boat after it crashed into a jetty. Her body was recovered by Coast Guard and local dive teams. Mauro was a talented athlete and had committed to playing lacrosse at Gettysburg College. The crash remains under investigation.
