Project Veritas CEO Resigns Amid Allegations of Financial Improprieties and Illegality
Hannah Giles, the CEO of Project Veritas, a far-right "investigative journalism" organization, has resigned citing evidence of past illegality and financial improprieties within the organization. Giles took over from founder James O'Keefe in June, who is currently under investigation for misusing Project Veritas funds. The organization is known for its heavily edited videos and has faced previous controversies, including a video targeting Planned Parenthood in 2008 and a hidden-video "sting" on the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in 2009.
