Hannah Giles, CEO of conservative nonprofit Project Veritas, has resigned, citing evidence of past illegality and financial improprieties within the organization. Giles claims she was unaware of these issues when she took over the role earlier this year and brought the information to law enforcement agencies upon discovery. Project Veritas, known for using hidden cameras to embarrass journalists and political opponents, had previously suspended operations and fired most of its staff.
