The PGA Tour's policy board has approved significant changes to its eligibility criteria and field sizes, reducing the number of fully-exempt players from the top 125 to the top 100 starting in 2026. Field sizes for various tournaments will also be decreased to improve pace of play and scheduling. The number of Korn Ferry Tour graduates and Q-School qualifiers will be reduced, while FedExCup-point distributions will be adjusted. These changes have faced criticism from some players who argue that they limit competition.
