NASCAR drivers Tyler Reddick and Harrison Burton weigh in on whether drivers should be allowed to fight or be separated quickly after last week's altercation between Ross Chastain and Noah Gragson at Kansas Speedway. NASCAR officials typically step in only when it becomes a physical confrontation, but one of the challenges is that they don't always reach the scene before a physical confrontation takes place. Meanwhile, NASCAR could consider racing in football stadium parking lots, similar to Formula One's recent race around Hard Rock Stadium, to reach new markets. Additionally, some Formula One drivers expressed displeasure with the pre-race festivities at the Miami Grand Prix, while NASCAR drivers prepare for the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro with additional track time. Finally, William Byron leads the Cup Series in stage points this season.

Formula 1's pre-race driver introduction ceremony, which debuted at the Miami Grand Prix, will be used at six-seven grands prix this season, even outside of the three American races. The ceremony was heavily criticised by most drivers, who called the timing of the introductions "distracting" and "unnecessary". However, F1 included the driver introductions so that fans at the track and those watching at home could have a better idea of who was about to race. F1 and the FIA will work with drivers to mould and change the special pre-race procedure when it is used at future grands prix.
