
BBC and YouTube Forge Groundbreaking Content Partnership
The BBC announced a strategic partnership with YouTube to produce original, YouTube-first programming, launch new BBC channels on YouTube aimed at kids and young adults, and promote BBC content with Winter Olympics coverage; the deal includes a Creative Industries Sector Plan and a training program led by the National Film and Television School to upskill UK creators, aiming to broaden BBC reach among younger audiences and support digital-first content alongside BBC iPlayer and Sounds.
