Nearly 100 emergency vehicles escorted the hearse carrying the body of slain Onondaga County Sheriff’s deputy, Lieutenant Michael Hoosock, from the medical examiner’s office to the funeral home. Hoosock, a seasoned veteran of the sheriff’s office and a volunteer firefighter, was shot and killed while responding to a call at a home.
