American Max Park has set a new world record by solving a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube in just 3.13 seconds, beating the previous record of 3.47 seconds set by China’s Yusheng Du in 2018. Park, who has autism, also holds the record for the fastest time to solve 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6 and 7x7x7 cubes. In other recent Guinness World Records set, Hilda Baci completed the longest cooking marathon with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has officially set a Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking marathon, cooking for nearly four days straight and logging 100 hours in the makeshift kitchen in Lagos, Nigeria. Baci, founder of the restaurant and delivery service "My Food by Hilda," cooked more than 100 pots of food, each enough to feed up to 35 people, and attracted millions of viewers worldwide who followed her progress on an Instagram Live stream. Despite having nearly seven hours deducted from her time, Baci's official time of 93 hours and 11 minutes surpassed the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes achieved in 2019 by Indian chef Lata Tondon.

Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey has been confirmed as the new world record holder for the longest cooking marathon, cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes, beating the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes held by Indian chef Lata Tondon. Bassey cooked for four days, producing almost 100 pots of food, but was penalized for an error in her scheduled rest breaks. Her record attempt was so popular that it crashed the Guinness World Record site for two days.

Bassey's marathon cooking included a mix of local and foreign dishes, and her time will need to be certified by Guinness World Record officials before it can be made official. The current record is held by Indian chef Lata Tondon, who set a time of 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.
