Nigerian Chef Sets Guinness World Record for Longest Non-Stop Cooking Marathon

Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has officially set a Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking marathon, cooking for nearly four days straight and logging 100 hours in the makeshift kitchen in Lagos, Nigeria. Baci, founder of the restaurant and delivery service "My Food by Hilda," cooked more than 100 pots of food, each enough to feed up to 35 people, and attracted millions of viewers worldwide who followed her progress on an Instagram Live stream. Despite having nearly seven hours deducted from her time, Baci's official time of 93 hours and 11 minutes surpassed the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes achieved in 2019 by Indian chef Lata Tondon.
