Nigerian Chef Attempts 100-Hour Cooking World Record.
Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey has attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking session by an individual, by preparing meals non-stop for 100 hours in Lagos. Bassey's marathon cooking included a mix of local and foreign dishes, and her time will need to be certified by Guinness World Record officials before it can be made official. The current record is held by Indian chef Lata Tondon, who set a time of 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.
