Nestle Recalls Toll House Cookie Dough Over Wood Chip Contamination
Nestlé USA is recalling two batches of its Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough due to the potential presence of wood fragments. The affected batches, produced on April 24 and April 25, were distributed to retailers nationwide. No illnesses or injuries have been reported, but the recall was issued as a precaution after a small number of consumers contacted the company about the issue. Nestlé is working with the FDA on the voluntary recall and advises customers who purchased the affected batches to return them to the retailer for a replacement or refund.
