"Nestlé Recalls Toll House Cookie Dough Over Wood Chip Contamination"

Nestlé USA has issued a voluntary recall of some Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough bars due to the potential presence of wood fragments. The recall applies to two batches of the "break and bake" bar products produced in April. Although no illnesses or injuries have been reported, Nestlé is recalling the products out of caution. Consumers who purchased the affected dough bars should return them for a replacement or refund. This is not the first time Nestlé has issued a recall for its cookie dough products, as last October, a recall was issued due to the potential presence of white plastic pieces.
